passionately for the arts.

friend’s who create together stay together.

monday was dedicated to creation. we woke up and set out for conquer.
it’s fantastic to have such a passion driven family. we’re out here exhausting ourselves for the sake of art. this transcends the common view on being an artist. our story is that it’s a life-style. simply being. we are the modern cavemen coating the earth with our sigils.

let your intuition lead you.

look into the mirror,

this was created from selling art in the streets and at art parties. thank you Shawn for claiming a piece of art. you grabbed a Zander, the as above, so below “Lord Zander” piece. which is totally amazing. welcome to the family. we want to have more greetings and introductions like these.

yeah, we spend many hours at the table, sulking thinking how mentally to cope with social awkwardness- but having really cool stuff. we make due, a relationship is usually formed. patience is virtue.

we’re going to be publishing artwork on our ello account that you could purchase. it would be rather easy on their, so standby for this.

this story is getting a lot more technical.

you can purchase our gear in Red Truck Gallery on Royal St. now. that came completely left field, like an ace from the clouds.

artcvlt: music and animation showcase

october is our season. clearly.

our project began two years ago october, pretty much today (oct 16th). through all this anniversary excitement we’re going to celebrate this entire month with art gatherings and exhibitions FOR our family and supporters. our first exhibition was artcvlt XIII

this wednesday, we’re hosting a music and animation showcase, we’ll be screening FLCL (fooly cooly) -another favorite animation that inspired the core of this project and our artwork. in middle school, while being at in-school-suspension, drawing versions of the FLCL comic was a vivid memory. staying up late to catch the series on adultswim was a pastime as well.

“FLCL is an original video animation (OVA) anime series written by Yōji Enokido, directed by Kazuya Tsurumaki and produced by the FLCL Production Committee, which consisted of Gainax, Production I.G, and King Records. FLCL follows Naota Nandaba, a twelve-year-old boy living in the fictional Japanese suburb of Mabase, and his interactions with Haruko Haruhara, who arrives in the quiet suburb, drawn by the industrial town houses and the Medical Mechanica building.”[x]

the second half of the night will feature musical performances from our family of the arts. (scroll down for line up or visit our artcvlt tab)

major updates from cvlt aesthetics, it’s been a while- hello

hello.

it’s been a while since we have made a few content rich posts speaking of any new art shows, news, etc. this is that post. we are spilling the beans for everything that’s been happening behind the scenes with our project. it’s a lot of exciting news, things have taken some time- and we applaud you and thank you for your patience.

september directions.

the month of sepetember has herald great opportunity towards the progress for our vision. our clothing has made it to a collective store front in the French Quarter at 421 Frenchmen st. in this location you can purchase limited edition shirts and prints, just look for the Carousel Collective 6PM-12AM.

in addition, we have been given the opportunity to set up at local art markets- we’ll be publishing dates you can visit and see our artwork.

just recently we gave a presentation at Pecha Kucha NOLA, it’s a night for young designers and professionals to gather and talk over a slideshow with a 20 image x 20 seconds format. we discussed how our project has influenced our lives and the lives of others around us. we talked about how our friends began supporting this project and that their support for our artwork meant entirely the world to us. it’s a balance- the relationship between the artist and the audience is something we value. there will be a link posted soon from this event. it took place september 15th.

we are preparing for the entire month of october, we have a two year anniversary taking place the entire month. the excitement is overflowing behind the scenes.

if you would like to join us for the month of october, here are the dates you should take off for:

friday – october 13th

the lighting was perfect for the eclipse this monday. how incredible of an experience. we enjoyed it down here in New Orleans. not full totality but blessed enough to experience the vibes and bright yet gloomy weather. it was a very introspective day. i contemplated the path of my life. what should be released to begin a new lifestyle that compliments my way. the weekend of the eclipse brought a surge of vibes that cause a lot of our friends to start drinking heavily, break up their relationships, take new career paths, and probably more changes that went unnoticed. this world is still as magical since it was first spoken into existence. it’s up to you to be receptive of the forces of nature.
