you are worth it

we will make time for every single person who feels something when gazing into our art and this project. we seriously are grateful for each and every person supporting this and helping it take form as it’s doing. our last #ARTCVLT art gathering was beyond words. it was something out of a collective dream that we all shared together seamlessly at some place or time. that was entirely you all. we built the stage and you all came. truly a work of art.

what we are doing is a very raw narrative. we expound on the journey of restoring power into the arts by collaborating with our family of artists and creators.

this was all created from making and selling art in the streets. we cannot express that enough.

the appreciation was unexpected and we just feel it’s important to express gratitude. this is a very conscious organism.

to remain in the know of the next gathering give us your email. be on the look out for anything from contact@cvltaesthetics or our name “cvlt aesthetics” – add us to your contacts and keep an eye out for information, not only just for the experience, but photography from our friends, creative writing, shirt releases, and news.

to live a life-style of dedication to the arts is major commitment. we assure you this is not a phase or just something that will fizzle out. this is a life’s work.

thanks for being apart of it.

Progression, Cvlt Aesthetics, Hi-Ho Lounge, and the art society.

to start this off, there are a few points of last night’s event that we would like to bring to light. we are starting an arts revolution by hosting certain types of art gatherings and art shows under the name #ARTCVLT. this is just one aspect of this project as well. our art shows are meant to bring people of the same vibe and aesthetic under one roof-to mix -and have a night brought to you from the depths of our hive mind. we will provide the atmosphere and go live with you all, we just ask that you stay connected with any and all gatherings that take place and support the artists participating. click here to subscribe.

thank you for feeling this. seriously we had a mosh pit, circle pit,and each emcee was carrying heat -just great energy the entire night. there were Yu-Gi-Oh battles taking place with AKIRA streaming in the background. we couldn’t have felt more at home.

oh man- the list of thank you’s for the contributing creators and our friends and family who attended is so vast. we will start by sharing our affection for the performing artists: Proper Channels, hellboy.hellboy, Austin Rapbaum, Neji Vibez, Dapper Dan, & Gools. together we are a society of artists dabbling in the craft of creation. the visual artists and brands: Gloomy Nation, Equoni, & Cvlt Aesthetics– thanks for being present sharing your vision with us.

thank you Progression for curating this deal together with Hi-Ho Lounge. that was really groovy and i hope more people collaborate with you all in the future.

the crowd. thank you for sharing your energy with us tonight and making it what it was. there were so many new faces and people we would have loved to become connected with and have gotten to know. sadly there are limitations to man power for these gatherings. that’s all changing soon though.

here are some photos from last night

our next production will be an Akria Movie Night

greetings and hello friends, family, and readers. much has been taking place within the art + clothing project over the summer. it’s been a very fruitful adventure releasing the new summer collection-as well as hosting art shows and pop-ups throughout the city of New Orleans. if you are reading this and attended one, wow seriously thanks- we really appreciated your involvement 100%. our next production will be an AKIRA movie night.

Akira has been a movie that’s inspired the core art and aesthetic of our project. it’s more than just a movie night for us. it’s a chance to celebrate the things that inspired us creatively growing up. we want our family of artists and lovers of the craft to gather in a very intimate setting for this legendary film. sharing drinks, snacks and forgetting the outside realm for just a moment. we invite you to become inspired as we were when viewing this movie. the art, animation, and music will consume you entirely bringing you directly to Neo-Tokyo.

as we grow older we find it vital to be reminded of the very things that shaped our creativity. we find so much value in this. thank you all for helping make this a success before it even takes place.

we are coming out of pocket to provide sound and kind of pull the production together- when you come Friday please take a moment to look at our artwork set up and snag a print or a new tee shirt. also not only just us- there will be a few other sponsored brands/visual artists helping make this event a success, so if you are able- pick up art/merchandise from them as well.

Friday, July 28th at Cafe Istanbul – 2372 Saint Claude Ave. – New Orleans, LA

there is so much joy in sharing our friend’s photography on our platforms. photography has played a critical element in the production of this project. we consistently remain inspired by adventure and capturing these moments. there are layers to this.

journey into the depths

a word from the founder pt 1:

“everything that takes place within this project is intended to be raw creative expression. this has taken shape into our daily lives.
to make this entirely clear, this project has become so much of my  life. mainly because i chose for this to be.

this brand has become a way to express my creative vision as freely as i want to. if you want to get real… this is pretty much my mind in the form of a website. this is my magnum opus in motion. i dedicated my life to becoming a better visual artist and making art my only means of survival at the start of winter in 2013. in 2014 i relentlessly began a journey into the depths of artistic mastery. in the fall of 2015 i created Cvlt Aesthetics. this all came about from a personal understanding of my role in the world i live in – in relation to the community/realm around me.

as time went on, people began to notice this more as i shared each new shirt produced with my artwork on it. a year ago today i began unintentionally drawing the Armageddon Collection immediately after Clams Casino, one of my main musical influences, shared my art on the internet. around mid July i got them produced after selling my art in the streets of New Orleans.

in three days, the fifth design will be made public and shared to the friends, family, and readers of this project.

thanks for your time just now reading this blurb. i wanted to try and give a little background information to those who are just now finding out about this.”

with love, power, dedication and creative freedom…

on June 13th we glitched the world

on June 13th, we glitched the world.

it was really insane. we glitched the world so badly that our art show was cancelled due to venue maintenance and our website got erased from the internet. yeah, that all happened in one day. it was devastating surly and to be completely honest, a part of me knew something tragic would happen. it’s a sign for sure that as much as you want to accomplish anything in this realm, it can be easily taken away from you causing you to think fast, and act on your toes and release your attachment to certain things. it was unbelievable.

our website contained a lot of blog posts that were to act as medicine for artists, creatives, art philanthropists, etc. this is designed to be a creative inspiring safe place and a forum of freedom of expression. this is not just a clothing brand, but an actual movement taking place among a society of artists. this is raw.

we began rescheduling our ARTCVLT art show for later in June. we will feature the same line up of musicians plus a couple new faces added to the bill. we do not wish to over crowd our shows or make them like any ordinary event. the nature of this project is very raw on its own,  and we want to deliver this if you wish to experience our project in person. the support that came from the woodwork was so genuine and heartfelt, thank you for believing in us, seriously.

we encourage you to SIGN UP to be invited to any of our gatherings, to be the first to know any latest news, or just remain connected in general.
we are currently rebuilding, everything- cheers.
