become reminded of why you create

there is something larger than what we can exactly grasp tethering us to one-another through art.

our project is an act to thoughtfully define the mysteries we face when consuming things favorably created by man. in example a common witness to creativity is transmutation of anxiety and fear into light.

thankful we are for this ability without it many would feel overwhelmed and lost.

we passionately believe that art saves lives.

we have countless examples of someones favorite musician writing into words and sounds letters of encouragement helping to relate in times of trouble or dread. sometimes these forms of expression keeps the listener going to the next day capable of taking on conflict knowing they are not alone.

often we’re notified how our journey making artwork motivates others to accomplish a variety of ideas and goals.

art is a phenomena that introduces worlds to those who couldn’t see them before.

in 2014 before this brand existed we crossed paths with the band known as Silent Planet.

we were set up with original card stock illustrations selling artwork outside of the venue.

not having any money at the time, we attempted to make our entry fee to see them perform from art sales.

Garrett Russell noticed me and immediately wanted to support my art. i admit, it was very unexpected to me because i was so used to bands having an arrogant rock star mentality. that wasn’t the case whatsoever. not in the slightest.

during the night we experienced immense syncronicities and dejavu. while they performed i channeled a message into an illustration. it was a broken planet, some honey bees, and a script “the meek will inherit the earth”. this imagery was inherently significant to us all.

this phenomena led to my never ending journey of understanding these complexities and blossomed my relationship with them. it’s been five years since and the universe continues to bring my artwork to new cities. Silent Planet just so happens to arrive at each one. unplanned.

together we write our story out for others to read.

together we share our passion for art, for it is truly our calling.

as the years pass and pages turn, we unconditionally follow our art inspiring hundreds and thousands in our path.

this is what it means to save a life through art.

we met outside a barbecue venue selling art to get in

this is our official warped tour photo post and our story of how our paths crossed. Garrett Russell of Silent Planet stumbled upon our set up outside the gates for their show in North Louisiana. he noticed that we had original drawings for sale. when he asked why- the reply was to afford entry into the show.

making art and selling it has been the means of survival since 2014. making and selling art is the blood of this project. it was this day in March our lives intertwined. the genuine appreciation for both of our gifts has created a lasting relationship filled with inspiration for over three years. the muses. our lonely start selling artwork on the streets has shaped the entirety of this project. the songs of Silent Planet have influenced a majority of the artwork created here. in reality it’s only natural.

When this photo was taken I said “Y’all Garrett Russell is for the people” while he tirelessly shares his love to their family and friends.

today we celebrated friendship in the heart of Houston Texas. it was a family reunion, the gentlemen in Silent Planet are hard at work all the time. Mitch being the melodic guitar witch, Alex being the astonishing metronome, Thomas being the heart and Garrett becoming the voice. together they have been breaking the air and opening hearts of many with each and every performance. i often wonder how the dynamic of that band works. they seem to be very well pleased doing what they do. as they make art and inspired the world, we make art and inspire as well.

Father Mitch. The melodic guitar witch.
That’s Thomas. We promise he isn’t just a head of hair.
Alex on the drums. The father of metronome.

the best thing that anyone can ask for are a group of friends who are willing to listen to you no matter what level of success. the conscious audience that gravitates around Silent Planet  is a loving family, something we desire to create in exact image as them.

the spirit exists in their fans. their reach is incredible-with their combined abilities they change the lives of every listener while providing powerful and potent messages laced within each song.

it was truly an excellent adventure around the lands of Houston, TX warped. here are a few photos that marked the day.

this is Mark. he’s one of the most kindest humans in the entire world. meeting him in New Orleans changed my life.

MOTHERSOUND is another band that we found a loving relationship with over the years of being involved with the culture. They are such babes. Take me.

we are in love with our friends and family who directly support us. literally in love with you. thank you for noticing the artwork among the many things taking place this day. thank you for taking the time out of your day then to talk and become connected. if you are reading this now please email us immediately at contact@cvltaesthetics.com –

music on the mind

this is an appreciation post. we want to thank all of the musicians who use their gift of creation to craft the sounds that get us through the day. without music, we would be lost.
music invokes a strong sense of creativity, emotion, or memory that reminds us we are here- in the moment. it leaves you wanting more. the greatest part about music is everyone feels something completely different when being consumed by the melodies. it’s the honey on the lips of mortality. truly a gift to mankind.
thank you Clams Casino, thank you Silent Planet, thank you albert b., thank you Dylan Seals, thank you to the many other creators who influence this brand or our artwork musically. thank you for creating pathways in our mind that fuels this creation process.

who would be interested in listening to track listings of some of the music that influences us?
